Sunny weather with occasional cloud cover will dominate most areas in southern Ghana this afternoon. However, isolated cases of thunderstorms or rain are anticipated over the inland areas of the coastline, forest and transition belt from late afternoon into the evening. Sunny conditions will prevail across the northern half with few cases of rain and thunder later in the evening.

NB: The rainstorm referenced in the morning forecast has weakened but is expected to trigger cloud developments in parts of the southwest later in the afternoon.
