Sunny weather with periodic cloudiness will prevail across most parts of the country this afternoon. However, from late afternoon into the evening hours, cases of thunderstorms or rain of varying intensity is expected along parts of the coast and the inland areas, middle, transition and northern sectors of the country. Few places in the extreme upper regions will experience slightly hazy conditions throughout the forecast period.
