Variably cloudy conditions are expected with the likelihood of rains over parts of the southern half of the country whereas the northern half will experience some sunny conditions with isolated cases of thunderstorms or rains this afternoon. However, thunderstorms or rains are forecast for some areas within the coast, middle, transition and northern sectors from late afternoon into the evening hours.
