As mentioned in the weather warning issued earlier today, a moderate rainstorm observed over the coast of Benin with the bulk of the storm over the ocean is expected to propagate westwards to induce cloudiness and affect the coast and inland areas of Ghana with moderate to heavy thunderstorms this afternoon and into the evening.

CAUTION: The rainstorm is expected to be accompanied by gusty winds with possibility of flash floods over low lying areas. The marine surroundings of Ghana will have a higher intensity of the rainstorm.
