This afternoon, variably cloudy conditions with occasional sunshine will dominate most part of the country, with pockets of rain expected along portions of the coast and its inland areas. Thunderstorms or rain of varying intensity are also anticipated to affect parts of the middle, transition and northern sectors from afternoon into the evening.
