Predominantly sunny weather with periodic cloudy conditions will be seen for most areas across all sectors. However, a band of rain clouds in the Gulf of Guinea is expected to intensify, expand and trigger thunder and rain-bearing clouds over southern Ghana from this afternoon into the evening. Thunderstorms and rain of varying intensities are expected to affect places in Volta, Eastern, Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central, Western, Oti, Bono and Bono East regions. Some areas are likely to experience moderate to strong winds as well.
