A weak to moderate rainstorm propagating from the coast of Togo with the bulk of it in the ocean is expected to cast cloudiness with the likelihood of producing thunderstorms or rain of varying intensities along the eastern coast (Volta, Greater Accra region) of Ghana this morning. The rainstorm is expected to propagate and affect the western coast (Central, Western region) later in the day. However, mist or fog patches will form over forest and mountainous areas to reduce visibility in the early hours of the morning whiles the north experiences slightly hazy weather. During the afternoon, partly cloudy weather will prevail over most places over southern Ghana with chances of localised thunderstorms or rain affecting the middle and transition belts from late afternoon into the evening. Whereas, fairly dry, slight haziness and sunny conditions will dominate the northern sector in the afternoon.
