Cloudy weather will dominate the country with the likelihood of rain along the coastline and parts of the inland this morning. There will also be a formation of mist or fog patches over the mountainous and forest areas making visibility deteriorated. However, a weak storm observed at the coast of Benin is expected to move westwards and affect the east coast and parts of middle sector later in the day. Into the afternoon, cloud cover will be varying with sunshine paving way for rain and thunder clouds to produce thunderstorms or rain for places within the southern half from late afternoon into the evening. Mostly sunny conditions will prevail across the northern sector with thunderstorms or rain from late afternoon into the night.
