Early this morning, patches of fog and mist are expected to develop along the coast, hilly and forest zones, leading to reduced visibility. As the day advances into the afternoon, sunny weather with periodic cloudiness will dominate much of the country. However, localised thunderstorms or rain are anticipated over some places along the coast, the immediate inland areas and parts of the middle sector from late afternoon into the evening. The northern sector and few areas in the transition belt will experience dry and hazy weather of varying intensity throughout the forecast period with visibility expected to range between 400m and 8000m.
