A moderate rainstorm situated over northern Togo is propagating westward into Ghana. It is expected to induce cloudiness and produce thunderstorms or rain of varying intensity within the northern sector and portions of the transition belt from this morning into the afternoon hours. Mostly cloudy conditions will dominate the remaining sectors with mist of fog patches likely over the forested and mountainous areas.

As the day advances, variably cloudy weather is anticipated over most places but from late afternoon into the evening, isolated rain with or without thunderstorms is likely to affect some areas in southern Ghana.
