The development of localised thunder clouds producing thunderstorms and rainfall activities over the middle, transition and northern belts are expected to reduce in intensity whiles casting cloudy conditions over most areas. Some portions of the coastal belt are also anticipated to experience slight rains due to the cloudy conditions in the early hours of the morning. As the day progresses into the afternoon, sunny intervals will dominate across all sectors with the likelihood of localised thunderstorms or rain affecting places in the Volta, Eastern, Ashanti, Central, Greater Accra, Western and Western North regions.
