The rainstorm mentioned in the weather earlier update provided has dissipated. Mostly cloudy weather amidst rain is anticipated to be experienced by most places in the middle, transition and northern sectors of the country where as coastline will be affected by partly cloudy weather amidst some sunny conditions. Mist and fog are expected to form over the hilly and forest areas this morning, thereby reducing visibility. As the day progresses sunny condition is expected to persist over the coastline (Accra, Cape Coast, Takoradi and Axim) and the Northern sector (Tamale, Yendi, Navrongo, Bole, Wa and its environs). Thunderstorms or rain is also expected over the middle sector (Koforidua, Kumasi and Sefwi Bekwai) as well as the transition belt (Kete Krachi, Sunyani, Kintampo and its environs) from the afternoon into the evening hours.
