A rainstorm is observed along the coast of Benin and is expected to drift westward into our country. This system is likely to induce cloudiness and produce rain or thunderstorms of varying intensities across coastal and some inland areas during the morning hours. Mist or fog patches will also form over forest and hilly zones, while variably cloudy conditions prevail over most parts of the country. In the afternoon, a mix of sunshine and cloud cover will dominate, with chances of isolated thunderstorms or rain developing from late afternoon into the evening over the middle, transition, and northern sectors.

NB: Moderate to strong winds are expected to accompany the storm. Cases of flash floods may occur within the Greater Accra flood prone areas.
