The forest and mountainous areas as well as parts of the coastline will experience misty or foggy conditions during the early hours of this morning. From late morning into the afternoon hours, sunny conditions amidst periodic cloudiness will prevail over southern Ghana. From mid-afternoon into the evening hours, cases of thunderstorms or rain are anticipated over the inland areas of the coastline, middle and few places in the transition sectors. Throughout the forecast period, dry and hazy weather will reduce visibility to about 2000m to 6000m over the north and transition sectors.

CAUTION: Due to the dry conditions, the public, especially in the transition belt and the northern sector, are strongly advised to handle naked flames with extreme caution to prevent fire outbreaks.
