This morning, most parts of the country will experience partly cloudy conditions with mist or fog patches over the coastal, mountainous and forest zones during the early hours, reducing visibility. As the day progresses, sunny weather with periodic cloudiness will prevail over most portions of southern Ghana. However, thunderstorms or rain are expected over some coastal and inland areas, particularly over the Western, Eastern, Volta and few areas within the Ashanti and Greater Accra regions from this afternoon into the evening. The northern half will be hot and sunny in the afternoon with few cloud developments later in the evening.
