The rainstorm mentioned in the weather update earlier is spreading over most places in the country, thereby producing thunderstorms and rain of varying intensities across all sectors this morning. Breaks of sunshine will dominate the southern half while mostly sunny is anticipated over the northern half in the afternoon hours. However, from late afternoon into the night hours, scattered thunderstorms and rain are more likely to affect the middle, transition and northern sectors.

Caution: Flash floods are imminent in low-lying and flood prone areas. The General Public is hereby advised to take all necessary precautions and stay safe.
