The monthly rainfall outlook for February 2026 indicates normal to above normal rainfall over most parts of the country, with normal to below normal rainfall expected in some portions of the south. Figure 1(a) shows the rainfall climatology (1991-2020) for February. Figure 1(b) displays the spatial distribution of the expected total rainfall for February 2026. Figure 1(c) shows the February 2026 rainfall probabilities (or percent chances) for each of the three categories: above normal, normal, and below normal.
