December 2025 rainfall conditions across Ghana were generally above the climatological average, particularly in the southern parts of the country. Most locations recorded higher rainfall totals and increased rainfall frequency compared to the 1991 – 2020 climatological conditions. Positive rainfall anomalies were observed across much of the country, with particularly notable increases in parts of the northwestern, indicating wetter than normal conditions during the month.
