Ghana’s maritime area is expected to experience variably cloudy conditions, with early morning mist likely to reduce visibility before giving way to sunny intervals in the afternoons.

At the start of the forecast period, however, isolated intermittent thunderstorms of varying intensity, accompanied by pockets of gusty winds, are expected from midnight through the day, affecting the mid and western coastlines as well as across the entire offshore waters. Strong currents are also anticipated to persist along the western coast throughout the week.
