Rainstorms are currently producing rains of varying intensities over the transition and middle sectors. This condition is expected to persist into the night. Along the coastline and slightly north of the coastline, mostly cloudy weather will prevail this evening into the night. Northern Ghana will experience fairly dry and slightly hazy conditions during the forecast period. In the early hours of tomorrow, mist or fog patches are expected to form over the coastal, forest and mountainous areas.

Mist and fog patches will form during the early morning hours over southern Ghana and portions of the transition sector throughout the week. The afternoon hours will be dominated by sunny conditions with periodic cloudiness. Localised development of thunderstorms will affect parts of the coastline, slightly north of the coastline and middle sectors throughout the week. Transition and northern sectors will experience varying intensities of dry and hazy conditions for the entire week with some localised thunderstorms or rain from midweek into the weekend.
