Mostly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected to dominate across the southern half of the country this evening, with localised thunderstorms or rain anticipated over the inland, middle and transition belt. The extreme portions of the north will experience slightly hazy conditions, however, partly cloudy conditions as well as some localised thunderstorms or rain are likely over a few localities of the north. Early morning mist or fog patches will form along the coast, forest and mountainous zones which may affect visibility.

However, scattered to widespread thunderstorms are expected especially for the middle and the transition belt from mid week into the weekend with mainly scattered activities for the coast and the north for the entire week.
