Our research paper titled "Variability of the Minor Season Rainfall over Southern Ghana (1981–2018)" explores the changing patterns of rainfall during the minor rainy season in Southern Ghana. Utilizing daily rainfall data from 17 synoptic weather stations, the study identifies increasing rainfall trends in the majority of these locations. It also examines rainfall extremes, noting nonsignificant trends in very wet and extremely wet days. The findings highlight significant regional variability in rainfall amounts and frequencies, emphasizing the implications for agricultural productivity in a region heavily reliant on rain-fed agriculture amidst climate change.
