Rain with possibility of flash flood over coastal Ghana

As referenced in the earlier alert, the rainstorm tracking over the Gulf has engulfed the eastern part of the coast of Ghana and is producing rain of varying intensity within the Greater Accra region. The storm is expected to spread to more areas within coastal Ghana (Central and Western regions) and produce rain of varying intensity tonight into dawn tomorrow. Cases of flash flood are likely to be observed during the period.

Residents in the affected regions are advised to take precautionary measures ahead of the approaching rains. Avoid outdoor activities during heavy downpours, and stay clear of flooded roads and waterways.
