As indicated in the previous weather lert, the rainstorm is currently producing thunderstorms with rain over the eastern and central portions of the middle, transition and northern sectors. The rainstorm is expected to continue its westward movement to affect more areas within the aforementioned sectors.

Residents in these regions are advised to take necessary precautions, including seeking shelter indoors during periods of heavy rain and lightning, avoiding open fields and standing under isolated trees, and unplugging electrical appliances where possible to prevent damage from lightning strikes. Motorists should exercise caution on the roads due to poor visibility and slippery conditions.
