Weather Warning: Thunderstorms and rain over parts of Southern Ghana

Volta , Eastern , Greater Accra , Ashanti , Central , Western , Western North

A moderate rainstorm has engulfed southern Ghana and is expected to continue producing thunderstorms of varying intensities this afternoon into the evening.

1. Localised flash floods are expected for low-lying areas. 2. Motorists and pedestrain are advised to refrain from moving through flood waters. 3. Motorists are cautioned to drive within required speed limits and use fog lights when visibility is poor. 4. Strong winds are likely to break weak structures so do not seek shelter under them.
