Schools Plant Trees As Part Of WMO/UNDP Weather Kids Initiative

On the occassion of the maiden WMO/UNDP Weather Kids global campaign, schools in the Greater Accra Region have planted trees at an event held by the Ghana Meteorological Agency.

The tree planting which affirmed the commitment of the students and young people to protect and safeguard their environment, also formed part of the World Tree Planting Day – 21st March, 2024.

Participating schools included Pentecost Preparatory School, Grace Preparatory School, PRESEC Staff Basic School, Seventh Day Adventist School and Evangelical Presbyterian School.
