The sun is expected to alternate with the clouds across most parts of the country this afternoon with showers occurring over a few areas within the coastal sector. The middle, transition and northern sectors are expected to experience more thunderstorm activity, with some areas likely to record rain during the afternoon and evening. Mostly cloudy conditions will continue into the night, with a chance of thunderstorms over parts of the northern sector.
