Thunderstorms with rains are currently affecting portions of the north due to the rainstorm that was mentioned in the weather warning issued earlier today. The rainstorm is making its steady westwards movements and is likely to affect the western portions of the northern as well as the transition sectors. The separate rainstorm over the Togo-Benin coast is also making its steady movement westwards to induce cloudiness and trigger thunderstorms or rain within the day over areas along the coast, slight north and the middle sector. Windy condition may precede the storms.
