Periods of sunshine and clouds are expected to prevail across parts of southern Ghana this afternoon, while the northern half will experience predominantly hot and sunny conditions. However, from late afternoon through to the night hours, thunderstorms accompanied by rain of varying intensities are likely to develop over portions of the middle and transition sectors. Areas most likely to be affected include Kete-Krachi, Papase, Worawora, Sefwi Wiawso, Amoya, Ntom, Dadieso, Sefwi Bekwai, Kumasi, Obuasi, Akim Oda, Achiase, Koforidua, Gyewani, and their surrounding communities.
