Mostly sunny conditions with occasional cloudiness will prevail across most parts of the country this afternoon. However, increasing cloud cover from mid-afternoon is expected to produce thunderstorms or rain over parts of the coastal, middle, transition and northern sectors, with the rains likely to persist into the evening in some areas.
