This afternoon, predominantly sunny conditions with occasional cloud cover will prevail across most places within the southern half of the country. However, from late afternoon hours into the night, thunderstorms or rain of varying intensities are expected over parts of the middle and transition sectors as well as few areas slightly north of the coastline. The northern sector will experience hot and sunny conditions during the afternoon, followed by partly cloudy conditions during the evening.
