As indicated in the morning forecast and weather warning issued earlier today, thunderstorms with rains will persist in the northern region as the moderate to heavy rainstorm continues its westwards movement. A mix of sun and clouds will dominate the southern half of the country with the chance of slight rain for few inland areas of the coast whiles from late afternoon into evening, thunderstorms or rain may affect some areas in the middle and transition sectors.
