With reference to the weather update issued earlier, thunderstorms with rain accompanied by moderate to strong winds are currently affecting many areas across southern Ghana amidst cloudy conditions. The phenomenon is expected to last through this evening into the night hours. Some towns to be affected include Cape Coast, Axim, Tarkwa, Sunyani, Bechem, Kumasi, Sefwi Bekwai, Obuasi, Amoya and surrounding areas. Early tomorrow morning, patches of fog or mist are expected to form over the forest and mountainous zones, with a chance of slight rain over a few coastal areas
