With reference to the weather update sent early on, Thunderstorms with rain accompanied by moderate to strong winds will affect some places within the coastal, middle and transition sectors amidst the formation of misty or foggy conditions over, parts of the forest and mountainous areas during the early hours of the morning. As the day unfolds the sunny conditions alongside occasional cloudiness will prevail over southern Ghana. From afternoon into the night hours rain-bearing clouds are expected to form and produce thunderstorms with rain of varying intensities over many places in southern Ghana. However, the north will experience mostly sunny conditions during the afternoon hours with slight haze persisting over the upper regions throughout the forecast period.
