Misty or foggy conditions are expected over some coastal, mountainous and forested areas this morning amid mostly cloudy conditions. There is also a chance of thunderstorms with rain over the eastern portions of the northern sector. As the day progresses, periods of sunshine and cloudiness will prevail across the country with chances of thunderstorms with rain likely over parts of the middle (Twifo Praso, Ekoso, Sefwi Bekwai, Diaso) transition ( Sunyani, Techiman, Akomadan, Derma, Kofiase) and northern sectors (Tamale, Daboya, Kusawgu, Larabanga, Buipe) later in the day.
