A rainstorm is approaching northern Ghana and is expected to increase cloud cover, bringing thunderstorms and rain of varying intensities to most parts of the northern sector from this morning into the afternoon. Meanwhile, rain is likely along the western coast and over parts of the transition sector this morning. Mist may develop over mountainous and forested areas, potentially reducing visibility. From mid-morning, sunny conditions are expected to intensify across much of the country. However, thunderstorms or rain may affect parts of the coastline, middle and transition sectors from late afternoon into the evening.
