The system may persist into the afternoon, bringing thunderstorms and rain of varying intensities. Meanwhile, mist and fog patches are expected over parts of the coastal, forest and mountainous areas, reducing visibility. Over the southern sector, mostly cloudy conditions are expected, with brief intervals of sunshine. A few areas may experience slight rain or drizzle from the afternoon into the evening.
