This morning and into the afternoon, thunderstorms or rain of varying intensities are expected across the northern sector. Some areas likely to be affected this morning are Gbintiri, Saboba, Chereponi, Kpatinga, Gushegu, Karaga and neighbouring towns. However, for southern Ghana mostly cloudy with mist and fog patches over parts of the forest and mountainous areas, which may reduce visibility, will give way to sunshine during the afternoon hours, with some locations in the transition and middle sectors experiencing thunderstorms or rain from late afternoon into the evening.
