The rainstorm mentioned in the earlier weather update has weakened in intensity, however it anticipated to continue to produce moderate thunderstorm or rain over the northern and transition sectors this morning. On the other hand, the middle and coastal sectors will be dominated by mostly cloudy conditions with intermittent slight rain or drizzle. Early morning mist and fog patches are also anticipated to reduce visibility range over the forest and hilly areas. Into the afternoon, slight rain and the drizzle conditions are expected to persist over southern Ghana whereas the northern half experiences isolated thunderstorms or rain.
