Formation of mist and fog patches are expected to be dominant over the forest and mountainous areas this morning with mostly cloudy condition prevailing across all sectors. However, a moderate to heavy rainstorm sighted at Benin-Nigeria border is expected to continue propagating westwards to affect places within the north and transition from late morning into the afternoon hours with thunderstorms and rain of varying intensities. The middle and coastal sectors are expected to have spells of sunshine during the afternoon with pockets of rainfall activities.
