Partly cloudy conditions are expected to prevail over most parts of the country tonight. However, a weak to moderate rainstorm observed over northern Benin is moving westward and is anticipated to trigger thunderstorms or rain over parts of the northern sector and portions of the transition zone. In addition, a few areas along the coast and nearby inland areas are likely to experience thunderstorm or rain. During the early morning hours, patches of mist or fog will form over parts of the coastal, forest, and mountainous areas, which may lead to reduced visibility.
