The rainstorm that earlier produced thunderstorms or rain of varying intensity across much of southern Ghana is expected to persist, with further thunderstorms or rain likely over some areas along the western portions of the southern half of the country. Early tomorrow morning, mist or fog patches will form over mountainous and forest zones. However, there is a likelihood of rain and thundery activities affecting the coastal and inland areas from the morning into the afternoon hours. As the day progresses into the afternoon, sunny weather with periodic cloudiness will prevail over most places in the country with isolated thunderstorms or rain anticipated over the middle, transition and northern sectors later in the day.
