Thunderstorms or rains are still affecting the northern and Transition portions of the transition sectors.

However, As mentioned in the Afternoon forecast, the rainstorm mentioned and observed off the coast of Togo-Benin has entered the volta region and it is producing thunderstorms or rains of varying intensities over areas in the Volta region. It is expected to move further westwards to affect areas in the Eastern, Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions.

Strong to moderate winds may accompany the movements of the thunderstorms.
