A Moderate rainstorm observed over the Northeastern flank of the country is expected to propagate westwards to induce cloudy conditions while producing thunderstorms with or without rain over the Northern and Transition sectors this morning into the afternoon hours.

A separate rainstorm currently over the southern portions of Togo and Benin is expected to propagate westwards to increase cloud cover with the likelihood of producing thunderstorms with or without rainover areas of the along the coast (Volta, Eastern and Greater Accra Regions) late morning into the afternoon hours.

Pockets of rain-bearing clouds off the western coast are likely to also induce rainfall activities over the western coast this morning
