WEATHER WARNING 17/05/2026

A band of rain clouds has engulfed the inland areas of the Coastal sector and parts of the forest zone and is expected to bring moderate rainfall to the Eastern, Greater Accra, Western, and Central regions, with isolated pockets of heavy rain. Separately, a storm system developing along the southern border of Ghana-Togo with bulk of it advancing from southern Benin is forecast to produce moderate to heavy rains across most places over the coastal, middle and transition sectors of the country.
