Particulate Matter (2.5 micrometers or smaller) levels are expected to range from Good to Unhealthy. Places in the Upper West, Upper East and Northeastern regions like Navrongo, Babile, Manga Bawku are expected to experience unhealthy air quality. The Sensitive group (children, elderly, or those with asthma) may experience serious health effects.

The forest and coastal areas however will experience acceptable air quality. This is generally accepted for most individuals; hence, outdoor activities is allowed.
