In this dekad, Yendi recorded the highest rainfall accumulation of 153.8mm across the entire
country, whereas Akatsi recorded 1.9mm as the lowest rainfall accumulation. Dunkwa and
its environs recorded no rain.
Most parts of the Southern sector recorded rainfall deficits during the dekad, except for
places such as Atebubu, Bui, Kumasi, Akuse, Cape Coast, Saltpond, Ejura, Kintampo
and Kete-Krachi which recorded rainfall deficits as compared to their climatological means
(1991–2020) (refer to Map 2).
