MIDWEEK OUTLOOK 03/06/2026

The rainstorm situated over the Gulf of Guinea which was referenced in the earlier weather updates has intensified and is now moving inland. It is expected to induce cloudiness and produce thundery activities and rain of varying intensities over southern Ghana. Additionally, a new convective development over northern Nigeria is also expected to propagate westwards and enhance cloudy conditions while producing thunderstorms or rain over portions of northern Ghana. Early tomorrow morning, mist or patches of fog are likely to develop over the forest and mountainous areas.

In the early hours of tomorrow and Friday, mist and fog conditions are likely to affect most areas in southern Ghana. Sunny conditions with periods of cloud development will dominate the afternoon hours with scattered thunderstorms or rain of varying intensities prevailing from late afternoon into the night over most sectors of the country.
