A moderate to heavy rainstorm has been sighted over the northern half of Benin into Togo. It is expected that the rainstorm will propagate westwards to affect places in the north, transition and middle belts this evening and into the hours with varying intensities of thunderstorms and rain. Some areas are likely to experience strong winds. However, the coastline will experience partly cloudy conditions tonight. Mist and fog patches are expected to reduce visibility range tomorrow morning over the forest and mountainous regions.
