Rain and thunder bearing clouds have been observed over the borders of Nigeria and Benin. These clouds are expected to induce cloudiness with rain of varying intensity within Oti, Upper East, North- East, and Northern regions from this evening into the night. The conditions are expected to spread to parts of the Ashanti, Bono East, Upper West, Savannah, Bono, Ahafo, Western North, Central and Western regions later tonight into the early hours of the morning. However ,lower intensity of rain is expected over areas within Volta, Greater Accra and Eastern Regions during the forecast period.

Mostly cloudy weather will dominate southern Ghana throughout the forecast with mist and fog patches occurring during the early hours of tomorrow. Brief spells of sunshine is likely for most areas as the day unfolds. Slight to moderate rain with occasional thunder is likely later in the day into the evening.
Early morning mist or fog patches may form over the coastal, hilly and forest areas on Friday amidst mostly cloudy weather. As the progresses, mixture of sunshine and cloud development may dominate most places within the country with scattered to widespread thunderstorms or rain occurring during later afternoon into the evening over the coastal, middle, transition and northern sectors.
